ENTERTAINMENT:

Past episodes of the Mel and Floyd radio programme

The Onion, of course

All Hail Butch.net I can't remember if I've met this person or if I merely know someone who knows him. Anyhoo, he lives in Madison and he's got an iguana that writes both essays and homosexual porn.

Sketch Swap Pretty much what it sounds like: You draw a picture, submit it, and then you get to see someone else's drawing. I find the whole concept endlessly fascinating.

FOR LOOKIN' AT:

Jim Sheely's (aka "ojimbo") gallery. Jim makes hilarious, gruesome rosewood carvings. Once in a blue moon he has stuff up on ebay too.

Alternative Online Artists

Worth 1000.com. Photoshop contest site. Some outstanding talent here.

My pal Kerry Shea finally has her own site and it is awesome! Go look!

American Visionary Art Museum- Great outsider art

Japanese sci-fi villans- Its hard to pick a favorite. I'm torn between Bee Woman and Trilobite Man. Looks like Praying Mantis Man gets his own office, though. If anyone has tapes of this program please let me know.

Todd Schorr- Very bizarre paintings containing popular advertising images. Me likey.

Engrish.com- just go there.

The Aardvark Project Gallery- Paul Lopes' very bright idea. Check back often to see how the heard is growing.

Watch Me Create group blog- What will you see on here next? I don't know. No one does 'cause it's new! A bunch of different people making new things and talking about it. It's worth your time to check it out.
